…Nunieh is to appear before a Senate panel at Abuja
Following the invasion of Nigeria Police operatives at the residence of former acting Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh this morning, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has relocated her to the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Officers of the Nigeria police had stormed her house this morning at 3, Owuru Creek View, Off Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt.
Governor Wike’s visit was based on the invasion of the police officers at Nunieh’s residence early Thursday.

Recall that the Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio and Nunieh have been exchanging words over the crisis bedeviling NDDC Interim Management Committee (IMC).
While Akpabio raised the allegations of corruption against her, Nunieh said otherwise, accusing the former Governor of Akwa Ibom of sexually harassment, budget wadding, and fraud.
