US court to arrest DCP Abba Kyari over alleged fraud
A United States court has issued a warrant of arrest for Deputy Commissioner of police, Abba Kyari.
According to court documents obtained obtained by Peoples Gazette Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to track down Mr Kyari and produce him in the United States for his role in a multi-million dollar fraud perpetrated by Ramon ‘Hushpuppi’ Abbas, a notorious Nigerian fraudster.

It was earlier reported that Hushpuppi confessed during interrogation that he used DCP Abba Kyari to arrest one of his co conspirators Chibuzo Vincent over dispute on how to share proceeds from the $1.1million fraud collected from a Qatari businessman.

Hushpuppi who was arrested in June allegedly conspired with five others to defraud the businessperson by claiming to be consultants and bankers who could facilitate a loan to finance the construction of a school in Qatar.
The five include Abdulrahman Juma from Kenya, 28; Chibuzo Vincent from Nigeria, 40; Yusuf Anifowoshe, 26; Rukayat Fashola 28 and Bolatito Agbabiaka, 34.
Judge Wright’s permission for the FBI to arrest Mr Kyari and hold him in U.S. custody was unsealed on July 26.
