…Assures customers of sufficient forex provision
Unity Bank Plc has received a supply of foreign exchange (forex) from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to adequately meet eligible demands from customers.
We, therefore, wish to assure our customers that there is sufficient forex provision to meet legitimate needs. Customers are encouraged to come forward with their respective demands.

Recall that the CBN had on May 5, announced the resumption of forex sale to commercial banks in view of the gradual easing of Corona Virus Disease (COVID 19) lockdown.
In a statement by the Director, Corporate Communications Department, CBN, Isaac Okoroafor, the apex bank said: “In view of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown both globally and in Nigeria, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has resumed provision of foreign exchange to all commercial banks for onward sales to parents wishing to pay school fees and SMEs wishing to make essential imports needed to revamp economic activities across the country.”
