Tesla says Bitcoin capability will be available outside US later in the year
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla, Elon Musk has announced the possibility of purchasing a Tesla car with cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.
“You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin,” Tesla announced on Twitter on Wednesday morning.
The billionaire also revealed that such Bitcoin capability will be available outside the US later this year.

He said, “Tesla is using only internal & open source software & operates Bitcoin nodes directly. Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currency.”
