…Companies in Dubai stopped paying the Nigerians’ salaries
Pictures of some Nigerians who spend their day roaming the streets of Dubai and their nights sleeping in a park has taken over the internet.
A particular Dubai Jounalist named Ashleigh Stewart took to her Twitter page to share pictures of these Nigerians.
According to this woman, these Nigerians lost their jobs and cannot afford to pay for a flight to return to Nigeria. The woman wrote in her tweet, “Help needed: There are currently 35 men & women from Nigeria sleeping rough in a park in Dubai. Some have been there for a matter of days, some 2/3 weeks. However, their stories are the same: their companies stopped paying their salaries so they can’t afford rent or a flight home.”
