Security forces arrest Sunday Igboho weeks after Ibadan home raid
Secessionist campaigner, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho, has been arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
Punch reports that Igboho was picked up by security forces at an airport in Cotonou on Monday night, citing a top source familiar with the matter.
Igboho arrest comes about three weeks after Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services, raided his Ibadan home and declared him wanted for allegedly stockpiling arms. He denies the allegations.
