Churches and mosques in the commercial city of Lagos will no longer be allowed to open as earlier planned.
Lagos Governor Babatunde Sanwo-Olu announced the suspension of the plan at a press briefing on Tuesday.
The churches and mosques had been billed to reopen on Friday, June 19 and Sunday, June 21.

But Sanwo-Olu said the plan will no longer go on due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the state.
