Salvation Ministries denied pastor in official statement
The leadership of one of Nigeria’s megachurches has dissociated self from one Pastor David Alfred of Faithful Peoples Assembly, who was alleged to be a homosexual.
The gist is that Alfred was alleged to have made sexual advances at some men in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, by sending nude and sexual contents to them.
The matter was said to have escalated to a level where he was attacked by some irate youths in Port Harcourt.
While Alfred was being beaten, the youths had claimed that he was a member of Salvation Ministries.

However, the church has insisted that Alfred was neither their pastor nor member.
In a statement signed by the management of the church, members of the public were warned against having any dealings with Alfred under the guise of the church.
The statement by the church headed by Pastor David Ibiyeomie reads: “Our attention has been drawn to a video making the rounds on social media allegeding one David Alfred as pastor of Salvation Ministries.

“This is to notify the general public that he is not a pastor, staff or member of Salvation Ministries worldwide.
“By this disclaimer, we disassociate Salvation Ministries from any activities, contract, classic or business David Alfred carried out carried out in the name of the church.”
