Nigerian celebrities peacefully protest against SARS
Nigerian celebrities have taken to the streets to contribute their quota to the protest against the brutality of SARS in the country.
High class celebrities like Falz, Tiwa Savage, Tacha, Toke Makinwa, Runtown and some others were present at this peaceful protest.
The protest which was initially meant to have been led by popular singer Naira Marley was consequently led by Runtown who gave it his all.
He posted on his Twitter page, “This has gone long enough and now we MUST take action! I’ll be leading a protest to #ENDSARS on Thursday, October 8th 2020. They MUST listen to us, they MUST make/effect REAL and VISIBLE changes! Empty promises won’t work this time!!!”

Other celebrities also lent their voices to the protest.
In addition to October 8 protest, singer Small Doctor has planned another protest in Agege, another part of Lagos to further establish their point.
The singer it to hold his own protest on the 9th of October, 2020. He took to his Twitter page to say, “Another Peaceful Protest Tomorrow [Friday 9th Oct]. Agege Lagos Mainland, I’m Coming Out With Me,Myself & I. Our Demand is Straightforward, End Police Brutality. We’ll Never Stop Until Our Voice Is Heard.”
