The summon of the past and present NDDC executives was issued by the House Committee on public Accounts through the Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation on the accounts of the NDDC.
The National Assembly has been probing the financial scam at the NDDC, but the new invitation issued to the officials was coming out as fresh allegations, due to the incompetence of the current IMC to answer some questions raised in the ongoing probe.
It was gathered that the Auditor-General raised some questions that bordered on 2008 – 2012 and 2013 – 2018 reports, as submitted to the House Committee.
The fresh allegations involved others like Beniah Ojum, Late Power Aginigha, Chibuzo Ugwuoha, Esoetek Etteh, Christian Oboh, Edikan Eshiet, Mr Kombowei, Tuoyo Omatsuli, Henry Ogiri, Samuel Adjogbe and Mene Derek.
Meanwhile, the Committee in the reports submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari, asked for the sack of Pondei-led IMC.
