PDP moves primary election to June 25th
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has for the second time, postponed its Edo governorship primary election.
The election which was supposed to hold on the June 19 and 29 was first moved to the 23rd of June.
Later on, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party’s National Publicity Secretary announced that the election has been shifted to the 25th of June.
The party has also granted a waiver to Governor Godwin Obaseki to contest for Edo governorship primary election. This is to allow him to contest for the state’s gubernatorial primary for the opposition party.
The party moved the election on the basis that it is still occupied with some activities for now.
