…Secondus affirms the president has failed over corruption
The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign as corruption has widened its tentacles under his watch as Nigeria’s leader.
Secondus made this call while referring to cases of alleged corruption plaguing government agencies including the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), North-East Development Commission (NEDC), Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), among others, at the ongoing media conference in Abuja.
The chairman of the foremost opposition party accused the president of ignoring corruption that has bewildered his government, having failed to deliver on his campaign promise in 2015 and 2019 to defeat crimes and fraudulent practices and tendencies.
