…Akeredolu votes, then addresses journalists
The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu had cast his vote at Ward 05, Ijebu II, Polling Unit 06, of Owo Local Government.
Akeredolu and his wife, arrived with the convoy and went straight to cast their votes, without joining the queue.
After his vote, he addressed the journalists assuring them that he was confident on winning the election.

He said, “I am confident about winning the election. I have always said that mine is about God. I know that God in his infinite mercy will give me victory. My confidence is in God.”
Meanwhile, at the polling centre of the PDP governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, the sudden outpouring of rain interrupted the voting activities.
The voters, including Jegede who was on the line, had to look for shelter at Polling Unit 009, Ward 02, Akure South Local Government Area.
