Drama in Ondo as police boss prevents Deputy Gov. Ajayi from leaving Govt. House

Ondo’s CP has no business whether I leave the party or not -Ajayi

On Saturday night in Ondo State, a short row came up between the Police Commissioner and Deputy Governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi as the former prevented the latter from leaving the government house.

The Police Commissioner Mr Bolaji Salami was seen standing in the way of Ajayi who was about leaving the House in his official car.

Reports have it that this drama is related to the conflict that is existent between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and Ajayi which saw the latter threatening to leave the All Progressives Congress for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The Police Commissioner was said to have been preventing Ajayi from leaving the house on the basis that he wanted to dump the party and to this, Ajayi replied asking him how it was his concern if he was leaving the party or not.
