…Ondo Gov. Akeredolu promises enforcement of restrictions
Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has banned the operations of football viewing centres in the state till further notice.
Akeredolu gave the order on Monday, during the weekly media chat at the Government House in Akure.
He conveyed his displeasure at how residents were breaching restriction orders and resulting in the increase of COVID-19 cases in the state.

He vowed that his administration will continue to enforce the restrictions.
“All Premiership football viewing centres are hereby banned from operations until further notice. All religious organisations are to further ensure stringent implementation of the agreed guidelines for worship.
“All our earlier regulations about operations of the main and community markets will be revised in which case law enforcement agencies and Governor’s Task Force will ensure full enforcement,” Akeredolu hinted.
