Falz, Charly boy, Aisha Yesufu, others react
Several reactions have trailed the arrest of Mr. Macaroni at the #OccupyLekkitollgate as Nigeria rapper, musician Folarin Falana popularly called Falz, Charles Oputa aka Charly boy and activist, Aisha Yesufu has condemned the action of the government.
According to Falz in a series of tweets he shared on his official Twitter account, he said, “What is this shameful behavior? Are these people insane? Citizens are peacefully protesting and you are arresting.

“How is this supposed to solve the problems that they have already caused?

“Macaroni has been picked up, the Nigerian government basically saying they do not want peace ohI am tired of just coping. I am tired of just managing. This is a fu*king shithole we are living in and we simply cannot continue like this.
“They are using this threat of force and violence because they expect that we would naturally fear for our lives, but the life we dey live no kuku get meaning before.”
In the same vein, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly boy also reacted to the arrest of peaceful protesters in a tweet saying “I know these animals have turned Nigeria into a Jungle but peaceful protest is still our human right. “Animals cannot dash us human right. Say no to #lekkitollgate reopening. “A history of rape, history of rejection, Tribalism, Terror, Corruption, nonentities in governance and Docility but enough is enough. Say No to #lekkitollgate reopening.” He said
Popular activist, Aisha Yesufu on her part said “That we decide to be law abiding is not a reason for government to take us for granted.
We have seen the Nigerian govt turn to leftover spaghetti in the presence of killer herdsmen, kidnappers, bandits, Boko Haram, etc who decided not to be law-abiding” she said.
