FG raising treasury bills debt via CBN
The Federal Government is set to issue treasury bills of 91,182 and 364-day tenors amounting to N15.91 billion, N4.50 billion, and N49.14 billion respectively by Dutch auction on Thursday 15th April 2021.
According to the notice issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on behalf of the Debt Management Office (DMO), it stated that all money market dealers have been directed to submit bids through the CBN S4 WEB INTERFACE between 8 am – 11 am on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
“Each bid must be in multiple of N1,000 subject to a minimum of N50,001.00. Authorized money market dealers can summit multiple bids.”
“A bid may be for authorized money market dealers own account, non- money market dealers or interested members of the public.”

The notice stated that the result of the auction would be announced by 1.00 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, but the bank reserves the right to reject any bid.
“Allotment letters would be issued for successful bids should be made to your account with CBN not later than 11 am on Thursday, April 15, 2021.” It stated.
