COVID-19: Total confirmed cases now 159,933
As more states in Nigeria get the COVID-19 vaccine, the report by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) has shown that the number of COVID-19 related deaths in the country has hit 2,001.
The report showed that Nigeria recorded 287 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the last 24 hours.
The new recorded infections bring the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 159,933.

The Nigerian health agency while giving an update on its official Twitter disclosed seven persons died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths so far to 2,001.
NCDC also announced the recovery and discharge of 2,117 patients in Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
So far, about 142,404 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation centres across the nation.
