The nation’s health agency, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 221 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country.
It was revealed on Wednesday on its official Twitter handle.
According to the Centre, there are also 3 deaths resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic in the latest statistics making the fatalities hit 1,010.
In the latest figures, there are total 53,021 confirmed cases while the overall discharged cases are 40,281 and total deaths are put at 1,010

The 221 new cases are reported from 19 states and Federal Capital Territory as Plateau takes the highest number of infections.
