COVID-19 kills 11 more people
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has revealed the latest update on coronavirus (COVID-19) as the country records 438 new confirmed cases and 11 deaths.
This was disclosed on the official Twitter handle of the Centre as the total number of cases aggravated to 39,977.
As at Saturday, July 25, 2020; an aggregate of 39,977 cases have been confirmed, with 16,948 discharged cases and 856 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The figures in the update stand as:
Total cases confirmed: 39,977
Total active cases: 22,173
Total cases discharged: 16,948
Total deaths recorded: 856
Total sample tested: 259,516
The reported 438 new cases are compiled from 23 states and Federal Capital Territory comprising Lagos (123), Kaduna (50), Rivers (40), Edo (37), Adamawa (25), Oyo (20), Nasarawa (16), Osun (15), Enugu (15), FCT (14), Ekiti (13), Ondo (13), Ebonyi (11), Katsina (10), Abia (9), Delta (8), Kwara (4) Ogun (3), Cross River (3), Kano (3), Bauchi (3), Yobe (2), Sokoto (1), Niger (1).
