…No death is recorded in the latest statistics
There are 160 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria according to the latest report of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) released on its official Twitter handle on Friday.
However, there is no death recorded which makes the fatalities to remain 1,011.
In the latest figures, there are total 53,477 confirmed cases while the overall discharged cases are 41,077 and total deaths are put at 1,011.

The 160 new cases are reported from 15 states and Federal Capital Territory as Plateau still takes the leading figures of the infections.
The statistics are given as: Plateau (44), Lagos (27), Katsina (18), Edo (15), FCT (14), Ondo (10), Oyo (9), Kwara (6), Abia (4), Nasarawa (4), Kano (3), Ekiti (2), Kaduna (2), Kebbi (1) and Ogun (1).
