COVID-19: Nigeria records 6 deaths
As the roll-out of the AstraZeneca vaccine continues in Nigeria, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 346 fresh cases in 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to NCDC in a tweet on its official Twitter account, the total number of recorded cases in the country so far is now 159,252 while the total number of discharged patients since the pandemic started is now 139,056 discharged.
The health agency disclosed that six people died in the last 24 hours raising the total number of deaths so far to 1,988 deaths.

“Our discharges today include 170 community recoveries in Lagos State and 83 in Kwara State managed in line with guidelines.” NCDC disclosed.
