Naira Marley pleads guilty of offence
Nigerian singer Naira Marley has been asked to pay a fine of N200,000 for breaking COVID-19 lockdown rules.
The singer was arrested yesterday and arraigned before the Abuja Court of Law.
Recall that the singer had caussed so much ruckus when he allegedly went to Abuja for what was suppposed to be a drive-in concert. Videos which however circulated showed people dancing together at the concert.
A lot of fans reacted to this and they called for the arrest of Naira Marley because according to them Naira Marley could not go scot-free for a crime that some other celebrities were arraigned for.

The concert was held at Jabi Lake Mall at Abuja and the mall itself was shut down by the government, while the airline which flew Naira Marley was suspended.
At the court where Naira Marley was arraigned, he pleaded guilty of the offence laid against him and the judge asked him to pay a fine of N200,000.
