…It is Arsenal vs Chelsea at Emirates FA Cup final
Chelsea beat Manchester United three goals to one as Olivier Giroud (45+11′) opener gave The Blues the lead in the second semi-final game of the Emirates FA Cup at Wembley on Sunday.
It was a cross from Azpliqueta at the right side of the post that connected Giroud as he jumped ahead of Lindelof and got his goal from a brilliant finish.
Mason Mount (46′) doubled the lead for the West London club, when he collected a pass from Willian in the midfield and unleashed a low strike into the net after a run which Lindelof and Maguire backed.
The Blues made it three as Harry Maguire (74′) scored an own goal resulting from pressure mounted by Chelsea players after David De Gea’s blunder.
Manchester United pulled one back through a penalty kick from Bruno Fernandes (84′) after Callum Hudson-Odoi fouled Anthony Martial in the box.
United had a couple of chances they missed as they fought gallantly but Frank Lampard’s side outplayed them to get their deservedly result.
It was Manchester United who have shown class by beating Chelsea at all the previous meetings this season. Ole Gunnar Solskajaer met his first defeat against the London side this season, which counts most for the Blues who will be gunning for FA Cup as the only silverware.
In August 1, Arsenal who have won the FA Cup 15 times will meet Chelsea appearing at their 14th FA Cup final winning 8 times.
