Magu was arrested on Monday over graft allegations
The embattled acting chief of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been released from detention.
He was released on Wednesday evening, days after he was arrested and detained by the police over graft allegations.

Since his arrest on Monday, he has been appearing before a presidential panel investigating allegations of corruption and insubordination levelled against him by Abubakar Malami, Nigeria’s Minister of Justice.
