…Kelechi Madu migrated to Canada in 2005
Nigeria-born Canadian lawyer Kelechi Madu has been appointed by the State of Alberta in Canada as Minister of Justice and Solicitor General.
Madu popularly called KayCee got his appointment on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
The 47-year old until his recent public office was appointed into the Executive Council of Alberta as the Minister of Municipal Affairs.
He had a degree in Law from the University of Lagos and called to Nigeria Bar before migrating to Canada in 2005.

He won 2019 Alberta general election into Legislative Assembly of Alberta to represent electoral district of Edmonton-South West.
He loves public policy, international affairs, and community development, and has volunteered to offer his legal prowess with the Law Society of Alberta lawyer Referral program and Edmonton Community Legal Centre (ECLC), among other noble and heroic deeds.
Being an Igbo man, Madu is a member of the Igbo Cultural Association of Edmonton.
He is happily married to his wife, Emem and together they have three beautiful children – Adanaya, Chisom and Ugonna.
