To choose right you have to BE right, love doesn’t just happen
We have often heard people say “you do not choose who you fall in love with, love just happens” and I dare say that this is not true. Love is more of a commitment and responsibility than a feeling.
You may be attracted to different people for different reasons but when it comes to loving, it is a choice/decision that you make. Hence we can absolutely choose who we fall for.
The question however is, do we know our worth enough to know who we choose to be with?
When you meet someone, the first thing you feel is attraction. The degree of attraction (whether strong or mild) varies for different reasons. For instance, you could be more attracted to Mr A than Mr B simply because, Mr A has more things you like than Mr B.
Now as you get to KNOW the person, love STARTS to grow. This simply means you are getting to know the person better than the surface attraction you initially felt. At this point, it is expected that you have paid attention enough, to the actual VALUE on the inside of the person, before you to decide to love. So we see here that love doesn’t/shouldn’t just happen
Also, if you choose to love someone let it be someone who knows your worth and value it. This means you actually have to be of worth. To choose right you have to BE right. Love doesn’t just happen.

Some people try to impress through money, flashy cars, beauty, designer clothes, skimpy dressing, great hairdos etc these are all good, but can never replace VALUE. What you do to build capacity internally, is key to making you a valuable asset.
Build character, be knowledgeable, develop self-control, be disciplined, be accountable, emulate good qualities of people who have walked ahead of you etc. Your heart will naturally become guarded, people who understand value will gravitate towards you, and then you can make your choice.
This is supposed to be a gradual process that takes time just like maintaining a good physique takes time. Keep working on/being a better version of yourself even before you find someone.
Our nation can be a better place when we all play our parts and it all starts from the decisions we make
Choose to be a better person today
God bless us all
