…PSG beat RB Leipzig 3 – 0 comfortably to reach Champions League final
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) gallantly cruised into their first ever Champions League final after beating RB Leipzig three goals to nil at Lisbon on Tuesday.
Marquinhos and Angel Di Maria scored in 13 and 42 minutes respectively to make the Ligue 1 winners went to break comfortably, before Juan Bernat Velasco put icing on the cake at 56 minute to permanently book their place in the final slated for Sunday with 3 – 0 scoreline.
Former Real Madrid and Manchester United winger Di Maria drifted in a delightful cross in the 13th minute which Marquinhos rose to meet and head home.
In their inferiority display of the ball possession, Leipzig gave the ball away for the second as Neymar’s skim opened the door for Di Maria to fire home and double the lead.

A blunder from Nordi Mukiele in the 56th minute allowed Bernat to nudge home the ball for his second goal of the season to kill off the game.
It was undoubtedly a devastating evening for the German side but PSG would be anticipating to eventually get their hands on the most prestigious trophy in Europe which they crave most.

The French capital club will know their opponents when Lyon face Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
While reacting to the victory, Di Maria said, “We ate them up from minute one.”
He also gave a hint on what was required of them in the next game. “It’s going to be tough to sleep between now and the final. We worked hard all game and we showed we deserve to be here. It doesn’t matter who we face: either Bayern or Lyon, we’ll give our all.”
Lyon shocked Manchester City in the quarter-finals to set up the semi-final contest with the Bundesliga champions.
Bayern, however, put down an indication of a reckoning force in Europe by thrashing Barcelona 8-2, a defeat which prompted the Nou Camp outfit to fire manager Quique Setien and sporting director Eric Abidal.
