Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu announced this on live broadcast
The Lagos State government has directed the suspension of all official activities in the state.
This is even as he has directed all flags in all public places within the state to be lowered to a half mast.
The state’s Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu gave the directives at a live broadcast on Wednesday.

This comes hours after a deadly shooting by suspected military officers left no fewer than 20 #EndSARS protesters dead and over 25 injured.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu didn’t however denied that there were any fatalities recorded in the shooting, but instead acknowledged that only 25 persons were injured, out of which three have been discharged from the hospital. He also did not provide more details into the shooting or what the state authorities is doing to investigate it.
The Governor appealed to the protester to sheathed their swords and parents to restrain their wards to forestall further escalation.
