…Fire affected no vital document was affected
Fire has gutted a branch of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN office in Gombe State.
This was disclosed by the apex bank in its official Twitter handle @cenbank on Friday.
It said the incident which only affected some furniture was extinguished early enough before it could cause any major damage to vital documents and other valuables in the Bank.

“The (incident) which started from an electrical fault and partially destroyed some furniture in the Branch Controller’s office, was promptly put out.
“There was no injury and no record or other asset of the Bank was affected,” the Bank twitted.
