Everton tops league table with 12 points
Nigerian footballer and Everton forward Alex Iwobi delivered a sterling performance on Saturday as his accurate passes resulted to two of Everton’s 4 goals against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Everton’s first goal came 16 minutes into the game by Calvert-Lewin. Brighton’s Neal Maupay delivered an equaliser by 41st minute. But the equaliser was not to be as Yerry Mina scored another goal within the extra 2 minutes awarded after the first half.

During the second half, Brighton dominated possession by more than 65 per cent but that didn’t deter Everton as they went on to score two more goals through striker James Rodriguez.

However, Yves Bissouma scored a fantastic goal a minute before the stoppage time, earning Brighton 2 goals in the match.
The win has taken Everton to the top of the table with 12 points.
