IGP Abubakar Adamu, had ordered the immediate withdrawal of all policemen attached to Lagos business Mogul and brother to singer, KCee, Emeka Okonkwo popularly known as E-money and another Lagos socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest.
As at yesterday, there was a widely spread Information that suggested that the policemen would be withdrawn but the move was not confirmed.
It was gathered that this move was made by the IGP due to the flamboyant and careless display of affluence using these policemen by the two social media celebrities.
This morning, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed withdrawing the six policemen attached to the Chairman, Five Star Group, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said this during an interview with The PUNCH on Tuesday morning.
He said, “I can confirm that E-Money’s policemen have been withdrawn. We were ordered to do so and the directive has been complied with. I do not know the reason for the order at this time.”
The PUNCH had exclusively reported that the businessman, E-Money had become the target of a police investigation due to his alleged misuse of orderlies.

It was also reported that Emoney was fond of using the policemen attached to him like domestic servants.
An order, it was learnt, was immediately issued to the Lagos State Police Command to withdraw the six policemen attached to E-Money.
A senior police officer said, “We received a signal from the Force headquarters on Monday that the police detail of music executive, E-Money, be immediately withdrawn and an investigation into the man be launched.
“The IG was surprised that policemen were attached to him in the first place and were being used as domestic servants, carrying umbrellas, opening doors and doing menial jobs for him.
“The policemen were discovered to be attached to B Operations at the command headquarters and not MOPOL which is the usual practice. So, we have withdrawn his policemen and we are inviting him for questioning. The policemen will also be interrogated.”
Information about the other businessman involved, Obi Cubana is yet to unfold.
E-Money, who is known by outsiders as a clearing and forwarding agent, boasts one of the most expensive and very latest car ownership in Nigeria.

In his collection, the very expensive garage includes two Rolls-Royce, two Mercedes Benz G-Wagons, and Maybach just to mention but a few.
One of E-money’s associates, Chidozie Dike when contacted on the development said he wasn’t aware of the unfolding story and he believed it was not true.
“I am not aware and I don’t think this is true,”
Recall Instagram celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha aka Mompha who features the same parade of flamboyant car collection and affluence was arrested for money laundering earlier this year and this signaled a wave of arrests on suspicious people with some questionable source of wealth as shown on social media.
Mompha is also known to flaunt his billion Naira car collections on social media pages.
Sources reveal more social media celebs are also on the radar of the police and other law enforcement agencies.
