Fr. Mbaka replies APC says accusation laughable, childish
Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Fr. Ejike Mbaka has dared the All Progressive Congress (APC) to carry out its threat by reporting him to the Pope.
Recall that Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC released a statement last week following the call by Father Mbaka for President Buhari to resign or be impeached due to the level of insecurity in the country.
Nabena in the statement called on Fr. Mbaka to concentrate on his spiritual calling and not take his luck too far because there is a lot to tell the Vatican and the Pope about his person and his sources of inspiration.
Reacting to the threat, Mbaka in his sermon on Sunday said “If the Pope knows I am speaking against bad governance, he will clap for me. So please, quickly go to Rome. “Why I don’t even want them to go to Rome is because, if Rome hears about this, they may give me a position I don’t like.”

On the claim by presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu that Father Mbaka asked for contracts, he said it is a laughable, childish accusation.

Whoever is saying that is a shame to himself and shame to the people he is representing. “Fr Mbaka’s voice came from the spiritual, so what I am saying is unchallengeable. I have been silent because I was waiting for them to change until God said ‘speak’.
“Some messages are like dew, some are like rain while some are like thunder. Anyone challenging that message is challenging the God of thunder and should be careful.

“The Fr Mbaka who was speaking is not just a priest but by the special grace of God a job provider. To the glory of God, those benefitting directly from me monthly through direct salary are not less than 23,000 people.
“That person challenging Fr Mbaka, how many people are you feeding? So if I talk you talk? Because the government is paying you?
“I’m not here to defend any allegation, but the three men he mentioned are people that could have handled the nation’s insecurity. This was during Buhari’s first term and these men told them they can help conquer insecurity.
“These men had the platform to end insecurity within one month. This was under Abba Kyari. I just handed them over to government. They only asked me to help them reach government and offered to help insecurity, revive the nation’s economy through putting an end to theft of crude oil and providing employment.

“Anyone who says the truth is branded a terrorist. “Are those given contracts better than me? They have shown that they don’t have a reward mechanism. “The last person this administration should fight is Fr Mbaka.” He said
Mbaka warned the presidency to stop attacking those who say the truth and tackle insecurity, adding that even Garba Shehu, the presidential Spokesman can be killed by bandits.
“Be careful in your choice of words and be wise. If anybody says the truth, the person is a terrorist. I do my charity without their support. I thank Ugwuanyi who has created an enabling environment here for me.
“Garba Shehu that is talking, the bandits can kill him too. No amount of security can save them if things get worse.

“With the support of the government of Enugu, God has given me the grace to do all my projects. If I can be doing this, the federal government should do more.
He further attacked President Buhari for travelling to the UK for medical check-up.
“How would a whole Nigeria not have a good hospital, that our president will be flown out of the country for medical treatment.
“They have shown they don’t have reward mechanism. Shehu should be apologising to me.” He said.
