…Legend Rio Ferdinand blames Manchester United for missing chances against Sevilla
Legend and former defender of Manchester United, Rio Ferdinand has condemned the poor performance of the Old Trafford outfit against Sevilla in the Europa League semi-final on Sunday.
Ferdinand lashed out at his old club on his Twitter handle on Sunday.
Sevilla beat Manchester United 2 -1 in Germany which spelt a third successive season without trophy for the Red Devils.
United took the lead through Bruno Fernandes’ brilliant penalty but the Spanish side struck back soon after through Suso.

After United’s numerous missed chances, Luuk de Jong netted the second goal for the La Liga side to make them pay for their blunders.
Ferdinand tweeted: “You don’t take ya chances you get punished. You don’t defend well you get punished. No need for insight tonight!”
On Sunday, Fernandes, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford were all guilty of poor finishing in front of goal.
The defeat translates that United are now on their most awful run without silverware for more than 3 decades since the early days of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now had three defeats lost in three semi-finals this season after also going down in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
