Total COVID-19 recoveries now 151,532
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has registered 7 deaths from complications of the deadly COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours raising the total number of fatalities in the country to 2,056.
The NCDC in a tweet on its official Twitter account disclosed that 121 new cases were recorded in 13 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) bringing the total number of confirmed cases of the virus to 162,762 as of 30th of March 2021.

It reported that the Lagos state had the highest number of infections with 40 cases while FCT followed with 15 cases, Katsina state with 12 infections, Kaduna state with 11, Imo, Kebbi, and Nasarawa state with 8 cases each.

Delta state recorded 7 infections followed by Edo, Osun, Rivers state registered 3 cases each while Ekiti, Jigawa and Kano state had 1 new infection each.
The health agency also disclosed that 151,532 people have recovered from the virus so far.
“Our discharges today include 977 community recoveries in FCT and 57 in Imo State managed in line with guidelines.” It stated.
