COVID-19: confirmed cases now 152,074
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 521 new cases of COVID-19 with 8 deaths as at 21st February 2021.
According to the report, the registered were reported in19 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) this brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 152,074. The number of discharged people now 128,619 while the number of fatalities so far hit 1839.
The report showed Lagos recorded the highest for the day with 166 infected followed by Ogun 52, Rivers 47, Adamawa 37, Ebonyi 37, Akwa Ibom 25, Osun-21, Bayelsa-18, Kaduna-17, Oyo-16, FCT-15, Ekiti-14, Kano-12, Edo-12, Borno-9, Yobe-8, Ondo-6, Nasarawa-4, Bauchi-2, and Kwara-3.

“Our discharges today include 228 community recoveries in Lagos State and 43 community recoveries in Kwara State managed in line with guidelines.” NCDC reported.
