COVID-19: 21, 371 confirmed cases, 7, 338 discharged persons and 533 deaths
The number of COVID-19 cses in Nigeria has inctreased with 452 new cases.
This leads to a total of 21,371 as announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Similarly, 8 deaths were recorded on Tuesday, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 533.
The NCDC has said that the fresh cases were recorded in 8 states in the country. They include; Lagos, Delta, Rivers, Ogun, Osun, Imo, Benue, Abia, Enugu, bauchi, Kaduna, Borno, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Oyo state.
So far, the only state in the country which claims to be free of the virus is Cross River State. But the Director-General of the NCDC Chikwe Ihekweazu has said that their claim is not true as no state is free of the virus.
