NCDC reveals 1,778,105 samples has been tested so far
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC), has confirmed 106 more cases of COVID-19 in 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja bringing the total number of infections in the country to 162,997.
This NCDC disclosed on its official Twitter page that one death was recorded in the last 24 hours from complications of the virus raising the total fatalities to 2,058.
The health agency also disclosed that 151,708 people have recovered from the virus since it was first reported in February 27, 2020.

NCDC reported that the country has tested 1,778,105 samples since the outbreak of the virus.
It stated that Lagos reported the highest case with 33 infections followed by FCT with 20, Cross River state and Rivers with 11 cases each, Kaduna state with 7, Edo and Ondo state with 6 cases each, Nasarawa and Ogun state with 3 cases each, while Kano, Bauchi, and Osun state recorded 2 cases each
It also stated that “Today’s death is from a backlog of data from Rivers State.”
