…7 more people are killed by the virus
The nation’s health agency, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced an alarming 476 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country.
It was revealed on Thursday on its official Twitter handle.
The Centre also disclosed that 7 persons died from the COVID-19 pandemic in the latest statistics.
In the latest statistics, there are total 50,964 confirmed cases while the overall discharged cases are 37,569 and total deaths are put at 992.

The 476 new cases are reported from 17 states and Federal Capital Territory as Lagos takes the highest number of infections.
