…COVID-19 claims 5 more lives
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced new 304 fresh coronavirus cases in the country.
NCDC announced this on its official Twitter handle on Sunday, adding that the pandemic has claimed 5 more lives.
The new figures put the total confirmed cases at 43,841 as discharged cases rise to 20,308 and aggregate death toll hits 888.

- Total Number of Confirmed Cases – 43,841

The 304 new cases are reported from 14 states and Federal Capital Territory as Lagos takes the lead having the highest number of infections.
The statistics are given as: Lagos (81), FCT (39), Abia (31), Kaduna (24), Rivers (23), Plateau (16), Cross River (13), Ebonyi (12), Ondo (12) Ekiti (11), Edo (11), Benue (10), Nasarawa (10), Ogun (6), Gombe (5)
