…Umahi to conduct virtual meetings hence as he works from home
Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has tested positive for coronavirus.
This was disclosed on Saturday in a statement signed by the governor himself.
The statement revealed that he and some of his personal assistants were tested positive of the virus.
He also added that they have been in self-isolation in accordance with the guidelines and protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), but presently not showing any symptoms.

Deputy Governor, Kelechi Igwe has been directed to be active in coordinating the affairs of the state in combating the pandemic.
Umahi urged the Ebonyi residents to always obey the NCDC protocols as the only way to curtail the spread of the virus. He also informed the people that he will be working from home and conduct meetings virtually.

Ebonyi has recorded about 438 confirmed cases of the virus, while 357 persons treated and discharged and 3 persons have died.
