…576 new cases and 4 deaths recorded from coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that 576 new confirmed cases and 4 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
The new figures swell the total new confirmed cases to 37,801.
It further reported that there are have been 15,677 discharged cases and 805 deaths recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

As at Tuesday, July 21, 2020, a total of 212,201 tests have been carried out.

- Total Number of Cases – 37,801
- Total Number Discharged – 15,677
- Total Active Cases – 21,319
- Total Deaths – 805
- Total Tests Carried out – 218,223
The governmental health agency also disclosed that the reported cases are from 21 states and Federal Capital Territory (Abuja) with the highest cases coming from Lagos (88), Kwara (87), FCT (82), Plateau (62), Ondo (39), Enugu (28), Oyo (26), Taraba (24), Kaduna (20), Ebonyi (20), Edo (17), Cross River (16), Kano (14), Rivers (11), Ogun (10), Delta (9), Nasarawa (8), Osun (8), Katsina (3), Imo (2), Kebbi (1), Borno (1).
