…COVID-19 death toll hits 518
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that the COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has increased by 436.
This brings the total nuber of cases in the country to 20,000.
These new cases were recorded in different countries. Lagos has the highest with 169 cases, followed by 52 in Oyo and 31 in Plateau.
Other states were also affected; Imo with 29 cases, Kaduna with 28 cases, Ogun with 23, the FCT and Enugu wih 18 each, Bauch with 17, Bayelsa with 14, Rivers with 8, Osun and Kano with 6 each, Edo and Benue with 5 each, Adamawa with 3, Borno with 2, and Abia and Ekiti with 1 each.

According to the NCDC, a total of 6,879 patients have recovered while the death toll is now at 518.
