The number of confirmed cases now 156,496
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 479 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection in 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while 8 people died from complications of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the NCDC in the tweet released on their website, the total number of confirmed cases now 156,496 while the total discharged patient is now 134,551. The number of fatalities so far now 1923.
The health agency revealed Lagos had the highest number of infected with 153 followed by Enugu state with 75 the Rivers state with 50 and FCT with 40

Others include: Kaduna-18 Ebonyi-17 Plateau-17 Edo-17 Borno-16 Oyo-12 Kano-11 Abia-10 Cross River-10 Taraba-9 Nasarawa-7 Bauchi-4 Bayelsa-3 Delta-3 Ekiti-2 Niger-2 Ogun-2 and Akwa Ibom-1.
