Many Twitter users have blamed the Asaba Fire Service Station for their lack of discretion and unprofessional code of conduct.
They argue that the duty of the Fire Service is to save lives and properties irrespective of which jurisdiction as long as it is accessible and within hour drive.

This, they attribute to a total absence of fire service stations within the markets. And even where fire service stations exits, they will not have water to quench the fire.
They, however, urge the government to do more to protect the lives and properties of people in the markets. After all, these markets generate lots of money through tax and levies to the government.
