Katsina gunmen killed 7 after sporadic gunshot
No fewer than seven persons lost their lives to a bandit attack in Katsina State on Saturday.
The incident was confirmed by a resident of Kurmiyal, Sama’ila Lihidda. She said the bandits attacked late Saturday night at around 7 P.M.
It is said the police are yet to confirm the incident but residents have said that 2 persons were killed in Kasai community and 5 were also killed in Nahunta community while many others were left injured.
According to eye witnesses, the bandits had arrived on motorcycles and had all of a sudden opened fire to probably disperse the crowd.

command were contacted and the DPO of Batsari was also informed.
Most Northern states in the country have seen an increase in a similar bandit attacks resulting in several loss of lives.
