…The EPL second-placed Manchester City also beat Bournemouth 2 – 1
Arsenal beat English Premier League (EPL) Champions, Liverpool 2 – 1 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
Sadio Mane got a goal for The Reds in 20th-minute of the game, but the Gunners came through to equalise after Virgil Van Dijk dithered outside his penalty area, and Reiss Nelson challenged the ball away from him to give Alexandre Lacazette who levelled for the hosts in 31st-minute.
Arsenal capitalised on another error made by Liverpool goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, as Lacazette got the ball from poor clearance and found Nelson who got his first ever EPL goal in 44th-minute.

Arsenal’s victory moved them to ninth position on the log and also damaged Liverpool’s hopes of breaking Manchester City’s 100-point record, as the Champions with their 93 points are short of that feat with only 2 games left.
