How heavy rain dispersed Yoruba nation agitators in Osogbo
Earlier today, self-acclaimed Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo popularly called Sunday Igboho and other agitators of the Yoruba Nation under the aegis of Omo Oduduwa United took to the streets of Osogbo, Osun state to get the support of the people of the state.
The venue of the rally Nelson Mandela Freedom Park was taken over by security operatives which made the agitators change the venue to November 27 bridge around NECO office, Africa Area, Osogbo and marched through Ogo-Oluwa, Aregbe junction, Fakunle, Ola-Iya, and Odi Olowo areas.
According to Daily Trust, Igboho who arrived from Oyo by 1.40 pm hurriedly addressed his supporters when the weather turned cloudy at 2:25 pm.
While addressing his supporters, Igboho said the security agents could not prevent him from exercising his right to express his mind as a citizen of the country.
Igboho insisted that nothing would stop the actualisation of the Yoruba nation and called on the people of Osun State to key into the agenda.
Igboho appealed to all stakeholders and traditional rulers in Yorubaland to openly declare support for the agitation for the Yoruba nation.
When other leaders wanted to address the agitators, heavy rain started and it dispersed supporters from the venue.
