The rapper partnered with his elder brother Baba dee to start their own record label, production outfit and clothing line ‘Naija Ninjas’ after he left Kennis music in 2007.

The sound writer was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma (a rare form of cancer that affects the white blood cell) on May 12th, 2021.
Sound Sultan passed away at the age of 44 on July 11, 2021, after battling cancer.
He is survived by his wife, three children, and his siblings.
