T.B Joshua’s church only has a branch in Ghana
The Synagogue Church of all Nation (SCOAN) has announced the death of its General Overseer Prophet T.B Joshua who died on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

1. The full name of the late televangelist and philanthropist is Temitope Balogun Joshua
2. TB Joshua was born June 12 1963 in Arigidi Akoko, Ondo state, South West Nigeria. He died 6 days to his 58th birthday.

3. He attended St. Stephen’s Anglican Primary School (Ikare-Akoko, Nigeria between 1971-1977) but dropped out of secondary school in the first year.
4. He founded the Synagogue church 34 years ago in 1987

5. According to Forbes, T.B Joshua was the third richest pastor in Nigeria although the church refuted this claim.

6. Joshua attempted to join the Nigerian military but was thwarted due to a train breakdown that left him stranded en route to the military academy.
7. His church, SCOAN despite its popularity only has a single branch in Ghana.
8. He was very controversial during his lifetime. Joshua was publicly condemned by several prominent pastors within Nigeria. Pastor Chris Okotie described him as a ‘son of the devil’.
9. He was ‘blacklisted’ by the government of Cameroon in 2010.
